Arsenal can lift some of the gloom,with a win tonight.

So many negative things have happened at Arsenal in the last few weeks that tonight feels like a must win game.
We have to get back to how we started before all this controversy surrounded us.

And nothing lifts the spirits more then getting back to that winning feeling.

I feel this team is good enough to get a result tonight and the only question mark is the goalkeeper Mannone.

Ive seen him in reserves a few times and the game against stoke which was a easy day for the the lad.

Mannone looks like he will have a strong career in front of him,But tonight is a massive test for the unproven 21y old Italian.

What a chance to show everyone at Arsenal that he is ready to compete with Fabinski as Arsenals number 2 and go even further then that and make a claim for Arsenals number 1 jersey.

He has a long way to go before that,But who knows in football these days.

I still think Arsenal needed another keeper and should have tried to get rob green in the summer.

But that's all in the past now so we have to deal with what we have.

Also we need a bit more from our forwards.

Fair enough Van p scored at the weekend and Eddie can be excused until he regains full confidence and fitness.

But we need more firepower.

It's time for Nickki b to stand up and be counted,Go out there and get us a goal tonight son.

Also could someone tell me whats happening with vela???
I heard he had a ankle injury and would be out for a month and there was also rumours of him going fulham on loan,but I've not heard a peep since about him???

I love vela,He's one of those guy's that make me jump out of my seat.
He will be a very special player in my opinion.

We will be much stronger when the likes of nasri,walcott and vela re-enter the fold.

So lets get back to our best now and show the world that Arsenal mean business and a couple of defeats were a mere blip on a great season.

I'm going for a 3-1 win to the boys.
