It's been a rocky road so far for us Gunner's fans.We kicked off with Liverpool away at Anfield.It was a big game for us with N'Gog putting Liverpool in front on 46 minutes Arsenal showed great character to get a late goal on the 90 minute mark (Reina o.g.)It was a good point at Anfield with Chamakh gracing his first team appearance for the Gunners with a fabulous assist. A well received point for the Arsenal team and fans.
First game at home was against Blackpool. The pressure was on,but Arsenal played really well with a 6-0 win. Theo Walcott scored his first Arsenal hat-trick with Marouane Chamakh scoring his first Arsenal goal. It has turned out to be a good start to the season. Blackburn away, and, Arsenal have shown great character to win 2-1 at Ewood park. Walcott on target again with Arshavin scoring for the second game in a row.Then Arsenal turned their attention to Bolton at home with the Gunner's winning by 4-1. Laurent Koscielny had got his first goal for the club it's all going right for us so far.Arsenal had to go to Sunderland.Where we lost 1-0 to a Darren Bent goal but Arsenal were on form.Arsenal took the lead with a Cesc Fabregas goal on the 12 minute mark then Arsenal had the chance to put the game beyond doubt from the penalty spot but Tomas Rosicky missed and Sunderland made Arsenal pay when Darren Bent scoring on 90 minutes it was harsh.Arsenal had to pick themselves up because we had a Carling cup clash at white hart lane.Arsenal put Tottenham under pressure and we where rewarded with a 4-1 win. Nasri with two goal's Lansbury and Arshavin a good win for the Gunner's.Back to league action at home to West Brom.It was a bad day Arsenal did not turn up with west brom winning 3-2 A SHOCK result.Arsenal had to keep going we had a trip to Stamford Bridge and it want from bad to worse as we got beat 2-0 Drogba again when is Wenger going to learn.? I know it sounds weird Arsenal played really well but just could'nt put the ball in the back of the net.Now we had to show character and get back to winning ways with a home game against Birmigham City.Arsenal had
to play well it was a hard game with the Gunner's winning by 2-1 it took a Nasri penalty on 41 minutes then a Chamakh goal on 47 minutes to seal the game for the Gunner's.We were back to winning ways but it was a hard game.We made it hard for ourselves.Then we had to go to Manchester City where Arsenal outplayed the home team with a 3-0 win Nasri give Arsenal the lead on 20 minutes then Alex Song doubled Arsenal lead and to seal the game N Bendtner scored on 88 minutes That a Good win for the Gunner's.Now it turned to Carling Cup clash at Newcastle it was a good night for us as we win 4-0 with walcott scoring two goal's and Bendtner geting on the score sheet.Back to league action with a game at home to West Ham Arsenal left it late with a Alex Song last-gasp header to win a frustrating game.The good news was we had a home game against Newcastle but we lost 1-0 to a mistake by Fabianski he come for the ball but Andrew Carroll header the ball home that was the only goal of the game.It was so flat from Arsenal it was hard to watch a bad sunday for as then we had to go to Wolves at Molineux Stadium the good news was Wolves ant beaten Arsenal since 1979.Arsenal started really well when Chamakh scored after 37 seconds was the fastest prem League goal in Arsenal long History beating Thierry Henny effort in 58 seconds against Reading on oct 22 2006.Wolves played really well but Fabianski was on form.Chamakh’s late breakaway goal sealed the victory but, in reality, a couple of key stops from Fabianski, was the key to Arsenal win so it a up and down season so far what do you think can we catch Chelsea?We go to Goodison Park at the weekend is a big game for as come on you mighty Gunner's All i can say is Proud 2 be a Gooner!
