I AM WITH ARSEN ALL THE WAY!!!

A lot of things have been pointed at Wenger at times.
And none more so then last season.

When right from the start there was a negative atmosphere around Arsenal due to the lack of signings from Wenger.

I can admit that i was disappointed that we didn't reinforce the squad at first.
But i didn't go to the games thinking we need this we need that.
I was going there because i love arsenal and I'm going there to give my whole heart and soul supporting the team.

My point is that there are a few that are quick to draw the conclusion that arsen is a old washed up has been.

I've heard things like he's stubborn, arrogant, selfish and he has lost the plot.

do you see what I'm getting at?

Now im not saying you do not have the right to critisce Wenger.
But some of it is a step to far.

We have one of the best managers in world football and yes we are lucky to have him.
There are clubs out there, that would bite your hand off to have him in charge.

Also the general opinon outside Arsenal,is that we are not strong enough.
You dont have the team to compete with the best.bla bla bla.

I'm telling you gooners we do have a team that's up there with the best of them and i feel we are in for a very exciting season at the grove.

I'm feeling very confident of our chances and im sure people will start eating there word's.

I am with wenger when he says we are on to something great with this team.

And you don't have to be in no brigade to think that.

Anyway lets look at the positives for the up and coming season:

ANDREI ARSHAVIN:

We have the guy right from the start and that is massive for us.
when brought in,he made a massive difference to the team and also
we have him to help us try to get to Madrid and lift the famous big ears trophy.

THOMAS VERMAELEN:

I feel we have a right little gem on our hands with our latest
signing.brought in to strengthen the defence.
I am excited to see him wear the red and white on the opening day and let's find out how quick he can adapt to the premiership.could be the physichal type player,we have been missing.

SAMIR NASRI:

Having played a full first season in the premiership.
I feel he's really starting to get a grip with what this league is all about.
I don't think samir has even got close to showing he's true potential that he has locked in his locker.
I think we will start seeing some of that this time around.

KIERAN GIBBS:

At the start of the season the left back slot seemed kinda weak for cover.
And with amrand on loan it looked even more uncertain.
But that was all about to change, when he started to get a run of games under his belt after Gael's long layoff.
I have been really impressed with him and I'm interested to see how far this kid can go.
we now have two great left backs at the club.

JACK WILSHIRE:

Well what can we say,what a boy,what a talent!
Jack has the whole world at his feet and as long as he keeps them on the ground.
I'm convinced he will be a superstar in years to come.
Will see more of a role at arsenal this season and that excites me greatly.

ROBIN V PERSIE:

A full season without injury and looking fitter than ever and having just signed a new deal with the club there will be high hope's on him.
We will need him big time this season.
we need him to get us some goals and I'm sure he's up to task.

I could go on and on about the positives in this team.
There are too many players that haven't even been mentioned.
But you know WHO and what they already bring to us.(IE Cesc,Clichy etc.)

Also most of the youth team.Franis Coquelin,Jay E Thomas and Sanchez Watt to name a few. They will be looking to push for a place in the first team.

And also the transfer market is still open,so who knows who else will come in?

I just feel we have so much going for us and that it wont be long to Arsenal are back on top.

Where this club deserves to be.

Hang in there gooners.
I feel the good time's about to roll again!

p.s revere to my old post to see what i think about the whole cesc saga.

Quality post....

I know harping on about the past does no one any good but while wenger is in charge theres always going to be comparisons to his previous teams.

Obvious ones are the class of 97/98, 01/02, 03/04

We gooners have been spoilt rotten and yes I admit I am one of those that looks back on those seasons and then look at the squad now and think that theres a lack of something.

The quality is there, no doubt about that but the competition is becoming greater all the time. I feel each team has a general 'a viera' if you will and those players are usually match winners whether on the score sheet or not.
I share your views on next season though, I feel silverware is on the horizon. Got a good feeling about the champions league!

Arsenal till I die, and im arsenal till I die!!

Go on you gunners!!!!

Thank you.
I do try.

we have been spoilt rotten and wenger has set us a very high level.
and when its not met, people find it hard to understand.
I dont think it will be much longer now.

keep spreading the word.
for the love of Arsenal.
